Bio

I obtained my medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand, in Johannesburg, South Africa. After spending 2½ years in general surgery at North Shore University Hospital, Cornell University Medical College, I completed a five-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Albany Medical Center. I practice comprehensive care of adult and pediatric disorders of the ears, nose, throat and related head and neck structures with special interest in allergy diagnosis and immunotherapy, rhinology, sinus and nasal surgery and endocrine surgery.

I am a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology and Fellow of the American-Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy the American Rhinologic Society and the American Head and Neck Society. I am active in resident teaching, clinical research and several local and national medical & non-medical organizations and I am a Clinical Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at Albany Medical Center, Albany, New York.

I am past Secretary-Treasurer of American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and served on the Board of Directors. I am past Chair of the Board of Governors AAO-HNS and past Chair of the AAO-HNS Imaging Committee. I am past President of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), CT Division and I served on the IAC Board of Directors. I am immediate Past-President of the New York State Society of Otolaryngology.​

I am a Past President of AAO-HNS.
